Oberlin is mainly connected through rail roads. Oberlin has also earned the status of being a historical town. Lorain County is located between Cleveland and the Lake Erie islands. It has best of the both worlds, the beach on one side, museums, Zoo, downtown and many more attractions on the other side. You will never get bored in these parts of Ohio. Villages, rural atmosphere, downtown life, and scenic pathways, they are all here just minutes away from Lorain County. Lorain County by itself is not popular for attractions and sight seeing, however the proximity to places of sight seeing and points of interest is what makes Lorain County popular. It is popular notion that the Civil war was started by Oberlin, a village in Lorain County. Other attractions of Lorain County are the Underground Rail road, and the Multi Sport tour which is a60 miles stretch with wineries, art galleries, parks and lakes. These lakes offer sports like swimming and Kayaking. |
