Francis Marion was a hero from the Revolutionary War who earned the nickname of the "Swamp Fox" while serving in the Continental Army, his heroic efforts and talents were the inspiration behind the name of this County. This lovely community is protected by a nice topographic hug given by the counties of Morrow, Delaware, Wyandot, Hardin, Union, and Crawford. |
