Someone says we've got a name wrong here, but we're not sure what name. Everywhere we look it's McConnelsville, though once we saw Mc Connelsville and another time we saw Mcconnelsville. That last one can't be right. |

German and American traditions merged in this municipality of Morgan County, this village is the county seat and the home of almost 1700 inhabitants. Named after General McConnell, this community has a lot of interaction with its nearest cities: Malta, Stockport, and Chesterhill. Unfortunately the economic situation of this territory is not as bright as the courage of its residents, more than a quarter of the population is actually living in conditions under the poverty line. |
