Newton Falls is a town which grew into a city and this little city is famous for the covered bridge and the covered walkway which is one of a kind in the United States. The bridge offers a walkway over the Mahoning River and is beautiful all the way through. The city got its name because there are two falls on either side of the Mahoning River. Newton Falls is one of the rare places with a unique zip code of this kind -- all digits the same. Don't ask a local about it. Old news to them.
