The Prairie lands of Oklahoma are so beautiful that it welcomed settlers from various parts. It was home to hundreds of soddies. But a very few are left today and one such Sod house is McCully of Helena. It was built in 1894 and stands tall even today. However nothing much has changed in the Prairie landscape. That is the parody, humans can change what they build but not what nature delivers. The two room Sod house is a standing wonder because it was built with the thick prairie grass. |
