There is only one museum in the world that is dedicated to a road and that is the National Route 66 Museum of Elk City. The museum has a route that is directed by motifs and the visitors are taken through the entire “mother road”, and guided using the motifs. Photographs and also vintage automobiles are added so that you get the exact picture of the vintage route. The Old Town museum is another interesting place to learn about Oklahoma in its early days.
