About the area |
Named for Stanley J Fitzgerald and his partner Joseph Errington (mining executives), this territory had several merged names through the years including "Fitzgerald" and "Geraldton Station". This "golden corner of Ontario" incorporated back in the 20th century is situated at the junction of Highway 11 and Highway 584. Home of the timber wolf and the blue heron, this blessed land is full of attractive spots to visit including san beaches, golf courses, parks, and historic sites. |
