The City of Lake Oswego, which is located on the West bank of the Willamette River and North of the Western end of Lake Oswego is about 100 years old. To get a glimpse of this city take a tour of the First Addition which is the second oldest neighborhood in Lake Oswego. The tour visits houses built in Gothic, Craftsman, Colonial Revival, Vernacular and English Cottage architectural styles typical of the early years. The beautiful Oswego Lake Country Club, built in the 1920's, has scenic views of the nearby mountains and is lined with Douglas firs and Oregon maple trees. It's a private club with an 18-hole regulation length golf course. |
