Comments
The court is located at the edge of the Hilltop mall but unlike any other business not one you would likely go to unless you were guilty of a traffic infraction in the town of Oregon City.
About the area
Oregon City was first established in 1829 as a lumber mill near Willamette Falls. There are many museums and historical buildings providing a glimpse of pioneer life in Oregon territory. The Ermatinger House Tea and Textile Museum, built in 1845, is the oldest house in Clackamas County. "History teas" are staged here, reminiscent of the 1860s and featuring people from Oregon's past. The Phillip Foster Farm was a way station for emigrants coming off of the last part of the Oregon Trail. It is a now a living history museum, with a farmhouse, blacksmith shop, barn and store to explore, and activities from daily pioneer life to try. Oregon City is home to Clackamas County Community college.
