About the area |
Visitors to Gearhart do not have to get out of their cars to get a closeup view of the Pacific ocean. Its beach is one of the few public beaches in Oregon where visitors are permitted to drive on the sand. Gearhart has has two golf courses, with breathtaking views and well-maintained properties. Gearhart Golf Links is an 18 hole, public course with over 6200 yards of golf. It has a a full service restaurant and bar and pro shop. Highlands Golf club is a nine hole course which offers fun for players of all ability levels. You will also get plenty of exercise here; since the Highlands is a walking only golf course. |
