The Event Center on the Beach in Gold Beach is the place to be in mid May if you want experience fine art or taste some nice wine and gourmet treats. In addition the nearby Brew Pub is open and offers special brews from the Mad River Brewing Company and live music in the courtyard for the visitor's listening pleasure. An added feature at the festival is the Garden Club Floral Show. The Event Center on the Beach also hosts the Annual Festival of Quilts in September. In addition to displays of quilts; this event has vendors offering supplies for quilting and wall hangings, quilts of all sizes, fine jewelry,demonstrations, dolls, glass beads, and a Country Store filled with quality handmade items.
