| About the area |
Over 500 animals in their natural habitat can be seen in the Wildlife Safari park. The animals roam freely in areas reminescent of Africa, Asia and the Americas as visitors drive through the park on a road a little over 4 miles in length. There is a a petting zoo and beautiful gardens as well as a Gift shop and cafe. At the intersection of OR 99 and OR 42 there is an amazing sight where once stood an unsightly intersection. It is an accurate statue of a Cheetah; lifelike in every detail and a symbol of the Wildlife Safari. The cities four parks offer recreational faclities from outdoor theatre to a skateboard park. |
