Besides the major thoroughfares of Moss street, North Shore drive and Pioneer street; there aren't many streets to get into trouble on in this town. But enough to provide work for this court.
About the area
Lowell lies along the North side of and juts into Dexter Lake. In the last Quarter of the 19th century a family with 14 children moved here from Junction City and established the beginnings of a town. The father of this family ran livestock, grew hops logged and was one of the founders of a Lumber company. Realizing that a railroad was a faster way to get his cattle, hops and logs to market he enticed the railroad company to locate through Lowell by plotting out the town with his property at the center. Rolling Rock Park is a community park that was developed as a heritage park and highlights Lowell’s history with interpretive displays which tie together historical artifacts and railroad themed facilities. The newest attraction to Rolling Rock Park is the Southern Pacific Class C-30-3 wood Caboose. This park is also the site of the Blackberry Jam Festival jn JUly.
