Dallas is the County Seat of Polk County and its residents number over 15,000. It is surrounded by vineyards & wineries. Come to Dallas at the end of July and you will be able to enjoy the Summerfest festival, a four day event which starts with a parade. This festival feaures about 60 booths with food, retail products, commercial information and arts & crafts. This event kicks off the Sounds of Summer Concert series. There is also the Oregon Vehicle Rescue competition and a 5K Fun Run. There are nine city parks in this town; some of which have walking trails.
