The city is self sufficient, supplying its own electric service as well as other utilities. Skate boarders convene in Freewater Park to use the city Skatepark. There's great fun for eveyone at the Muddy Frogwater Country Classic Festival and Corn Roast. The Festival is held each year in August at Richard Yantis Memorial Park. Live Entertainment performs at the bandshell for all to enjoy at no charge. There's a parade on Saturday and a Corn Roast/Watermelon Feed held on Sunday,
