If you need to relax some afternoon visit the the publicly owned Alpine Meadows Golf club located a few miles to the Northwest of Enterprise. This 9 hole golf course provides a fun golf outing. The Canyon Mule Days festival, which is held annually the weekend after Labor Day, celebrates the role mules and donkeys played for Wallowa Valley’s pioneer families. Some of the events held are three days of rodeo-type events, a non-motorized parade, a mule and donkey auction, and a variety of mystery animal races.
