|About the area||
Dauphin County was named for the eldest son of the king of France, and has an estimated population of 253500 people residing on its almost 560 square miles of territory. Harrisburg City is one of the proud sons of Dauphin County, which has served Pennsylvania State as its state capital since the early 19th century and it is part of the Harrisburg–Carlisle Metro Area. Northumberland and Schuykill Counties constitute the northern frame of this land, while Perry and Cumberland formed the western frontier, continuing to the southern corner; we find York and Lancaster Counties; while Lebanon County takes charge of the eastern "wing". If you are going to this territory, you may take the Interstate 76 or the Interstate 283 without a problem.
