The county seat of Franklin is a lovely destination in the metropolitan area of Chambersburg, full of pleasant architecture and friendly inhabitants which invite you to take a look to community with a lot of history which started to be written back in the early 18th century, when the Falling Spring Creek and the Conococheague Creek produced the power for the gristmills and sawmill industries and gave birth to the "Falling Spring" settlement.
