About the area
Great education and several tourism options are part of all the attractions available for those who visit this community in Lancaster County. This municipality was known as "Wright's Ferry" in the hands of John Wright who established a very strong community respecting and admiring the Native American traditions of the former settlers of this land. The foundation of Columbia took place during the second quarter of the 18th century, today this territory is the home of the National Watch and Clock Museum and the Wright's Ferry Mansion.
