Palmyra joined the map of Lebanon County back in the 1910's and its located just a few minutes away from Cambelltown, Hersheys, and Annville. Most of the population residing in this territory is dedicated to the construction, food, health care, and educational industries. This missing puzzle piece of the Pennsylvania metro area is home of more than 7000 people, its strategic location between Annville and Hershey makes it a nice natural bridge for these two communities. The Hershey amusement park is a bit west of Palmyra. Lots of fun but it can get crowded. Can't beat the smell. |
