The settlement of this territory took place in the late 18th century, and it took the former residents more than 45 years to incorporate their community as a borough in Mercer County; plus almost 80 years to become a city back in the late 1910s. With more than 16300 residents and neighbor of Farrell, West Hill, Wheatland, Sharpsville, and Hermitage; this land has plenty of attractions and recreational areas available for residents, neighbors, and visitors. Some of these points of interest are the Buhl Farm Park, the FH Buhl Club, and Hickory VFW Golf Course.
