Guess what? They have a port, and were building a bridge, and that's how they came up with the name Bridgeport. Jiminy Crickets!! Maybe they weren't all that creative with the naming process back before 1850. The community sees trains, cars, and even boat traffic. Wonder if the traffic court gets hopping. |
