About the area |
Selingsgrove is irrigated by the clear and fresh waters of the Susquehanna River and it's the largest borough in Synder County with almost 2 square miles of territory of very regular topography elevated 440 feet above sea level sharing borderlines with the cities of Hummels Wharf located in the southern border along with Shamokin Dam and Sunbury. The northern border is mostly constituted by Freeburg and Herndon boroughs. The boroughs authorities have joined a regional program to promote the recreational activities to achieve a better interaction with nature and have a healthy life. |
