Incorporated back in the late 1850s and named after Asa Mann, settler who explored the virgin and deep forest present in this lovely land neighbor of Tioga, Blossburg, Roseville, and Lawrenceville boroughs. Home of more than 3460 people, this municipality of just 2 square miles of territory is surrounded by the Richmond Township. The proud father of the former Congress representative of Maryland; Tom McMillen, its today the home of several antique shops and farmers markets. |
