The county seat is the City of Washington, for decades dubbed Little Washington by neighboring counties. But you will surely risk the wrath of the locals if you dare call it that. In fact, the proud residents may sick their sheep on you or toss you off the nearest covered bridge - which will not be far away because they have a bunch of those, along with plenty of wooly critters. |
