About the area
This community was named after a Native American expression that could be translated or interpreted in several different ways but the most common one would be "meeting of the waters". Almost 2000 residents have made this land of less than 1 square mile of territory their home and they constantly enjoy the lovely traditional buildings architecture on the Business Route 6 located downtown Tunkhannock, along with the beauty of the local recreational areas.
