About the area |
Westerly is located very close to Connecticut actually and is almost on the borders. The beautiful beaches are because of the Long Island Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. Rhode Island contributes very little for the beauty of Westerly. [Editor's Note: Huh?] The whole seven miles of sandy beaches are Westerlyââ¬â¢s main attraction from a tourism perspective. Another popular attraction is the Watch Hill resort community that features a pretty darn old merry go round or something like that. There are beautiful cottages to stay in here and also it is located by the lovely beaches of Westerly. The other popular attractions include the seven villages of Dunn's Corners, Misquamicut, Bradford, Shelter Harbor and Weekapaug. |
