Williamston Healing Spring is an interesting story. One day a farmer called West Allen Williams dreamed of a clear water spring with healing properties. When he woke up he really found a spring next to him. There were so many springs here hat eventually it was called the Saratoga of the South. The city was called Mineral springs before it was named Williamston.
