The world Grits festival is being celebrated here since the 1980’s. The leaders of the city were wondering what event to celebrate and they were sure they needed to have something. A local store owner then realized that he does sell a lot of Quaker oats and a lot of people consume it. So that is how the World Grits festival was being celebrated here. Nearly 30 thousand people attend it. Interstate 26 and Interstate 95 cross each other in this city. |
