About the area

Lake City is best known for the tobacco produce in the state. The employment and the revenues come from there. In the 18th century the city was popular for a famous lynching incident where a black postmaster and his infant daughter were killed. However today it is a city that has one of the most stringent laws in the State with several speed traps.
