About the area |
Some of the first settlers in the city were people who owned rice mills. They found this place to be secluded and it was almost like private beach for them. Whatâs more was the city was ideal because they had the money and they could create their own mark. Even today Pawley Island exudes the rich and popular look. However it is prone to extreme weather like hurricanes. |
