| About the area |
Irmo is the home of the annual Okra Strut festival. It is actually a fund raiser event but today it is celebrated in large scale. This is also a town located by the Lake Murray. Do not forget that this lake is very huge. Irmo however developed mostly because of the rail road. Irmo Town Park speaks volumes about the city’s taste and high preservation. Also the real estate is a bit pricey here.
