Peak means top of something. Well the city is on top of a mountain literally. It is at a high altitude. Peak has several historic buildings which have been converted into Bed and Breakfasts now. It has a unique mountain city culture. You would probably compare it to Gatlinburg of Pennsylvania. The place turns, lively by evening with pet shops, food joints, KFC’s and several other places alternating each other. |
