Fort Mill is right on I-77. Fort Mill is a part of North Carolina also. There is a colonial era fort and a mill built in the city and that is where it gets its name from. The British built them both. The Catawba Indians called it home for several years but soon they disappeared. However there is a lot of native Indian history and art in the city if you wish to explore. |
