Shelbyville is home to several industries like pencils, foods, and several other products. Sharpie writing instruments are made here, the United States Pencil Corporation makes the pencils and other writing instruments here. Also present are Tyson Foods, Cebal America, Wal-mart distribution and a few more. The food industries were employing several people from the Muslim community from Somalia. Also the city has invited trouble by being named as a Muslim city and hosting a high immigrant population. |
