The Belle Meade Plantation is actually a heritage mansion located on 30 acres of land. It is on the southern side of Nashville and is amidst spectacular views. The Mansion is popular because it still bears the bullet scars from the civil war times. It was basically a breeding farm and in those days it was one of the largest breeding farms in entire country. The plantations original dwelling has been kept in tact and among them Dunham’s cabin is one of them. There are other mansions too like the Belmont mansion but this one tops the list.
