The Lincoln County Museum and Civic Center is accessible from Highway 431/231 and you get onto to the Main Street from here. Fifteen miles from here is the famous Jack Daniel Brewery. Some of the interesting features of the museum are the James Buchanan Courtyard and the Pitts Lobby. The Lobby is a replica of a paint store. There is an exhibit of Admiral Frank Kelso. An old Cherokee Indian school and its exhibits have been included here. Some natural history in the form of fossils is also included.
