The Fort Southwest Point was one of the first buildings to be constructed in Kingston and then was the town to be built. Today the historic remains of the fort are open for visitors. Some people have put in efforts to revive history and have reproduced the battles and the events that took place in the fort. These events are held on weekends in the evenings. The Fort was built in the late 18th century. |
