Palestine is a Texan jewel full of romantic spaces and lovely pine trees that will catch your attention as soon as you arrive to this territory between Elkhart, Montalba-Tennessee Colony, Oakwood, Grapeland, and Poynor. With a total area of 18 square miles of extension, this community has made it all the way to the newspaper headlines as homeland of the Minnesota Vikings and witness of the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster debris back in 2003. Home of the University of Texas at Tyler, it is proud to welcome visitors and entertain its residents with the Dogwood Trails festival during Spring every year. |
