About the area
More than 1328500 people have made this land their home bringing to the floor different beliefs, faiths, and races to the second largest city in Texas State. The Battle of the Alamo is hands down the most important historical event in the books of San Antonio, when Antonio López de Santa Anna brought thousands of men to fight for the occupation of this territory back in the 1830s. The struggle lasted 13 days and became the detonation event for the subsequent Battle of San Jacinto where Texas became finally independent. If you are planning to come to this territory, we recommend you to check the Cinco the Mayo activities, the Christmas parades, and the Spurs games.
