Hugged by the Lackland Air Force Base, Brooks City-Base, Fort Sam Houston, and Randolph Air Force Base is a very peaceful community that has been able to organize its resources to make the best out of them. Irrigated and "powered" by the Victor Braunig Lake and Calaveras Lake, this community is divided into several districts including Alamo, Houston Street, King William Historic, Lavaca, River North, River Blend; along with another thirteen districts. The commercial heart of Alamo City could by the Central Business District where a great IMAX theater, Joske's flagship store, and the Rivercenter Mall constitute great attractions. |
