About the area |
The "brown rock" founded in the 1840s is located in the San Antonio metro area and it was named for Braunfels, in Germany. If you come to visit this territory, you really need to make space in your agenda to visit a real German Texan community which was established since the 19th century and it is still alive, strong, traditional, and charming. The homeland of the yummy "sausage festival" is the proud territory of the Herald Zeitung newspaper, in a land situated along the Balcones Fault. Served by the New Braunfels Independent School District, this municipality reports more than $18500 as their per capita income and less than 10% of its population living under extreme poverty. |
