About the area

This municipality is the county seat of Glasscock County and it was named after William Gardner, but unfortunately someone did not read his last name properly! Formerly known as New California, this territory was a very kind supporter of George Bush back in 2004 and their courageous spirit was not affected after his very special "government". German, English, and American ancestries seem to be alive in the traditions and hearts of the inhabitants of Garden City which is elevated more than 2635 feet above sea level.
