About the area

Batson is elevated nearly 100 feet above sea level, which helps a little during Hurricane season. It was named for Eli Batson who settled here in the early 1800s. Not too far from Beaumont. The educational needs of Batsonians are handled by the West Hardin Schools. Should you decide to visit this corner of east Texas, the State Highway 105 will transport you with ease to this destination.
