About the area |
If you drive north about a mile or so from the court house you will reach Westheimer Rd. Going westbound you will reach George Bush Park, here you can get some fresh air while still being in the city. Head eastbound on Westheimer and you will find The Galleria right off of Loop 610. The Galleria is an huge and fancy mall where you can do some shopping at Louis Vuitton, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus (known to some, at least in the past, as Needless Markup amongst others. You can also do some indoor ice skating, located on the ground floor, or get a bite to eat at the many restaurants. Wonder if they still have that gorgeous fountain outside. |
