About the area |
Very nice area near the Rice University, Houston Medical Center and Hermann Park. The Fire Truck Park is an interesting and unique park located in Southside Place, the park is named for the fire truck slide. This park has a great amount of shade that is much sought after during days of high heat and humidity in Houston. Southside Place got its city going in the 1930s. |
