About the area |
The town (technically a city, we think) was given this name because it's located west of Rice University, so it makes sense to call it West U in short. Very peaceful and nice neighborhood but in December of 1998 a serial killer known as the Railroad Killer broke into a residents home and took the life of one of his alleged 24 murders. |
