With an estimated population of 5500 inhabitants, this community named after Oliver Hartley and Rufus Hartley is a land full of blessings served by the US Highway 54, US Highway 87, US Highway 385, and State Highway 354. Established in the 1870s, this land has its government operations center in Channing City, Dallam County constitutes the northern border, Moore County represents the eastern frontier, Oldham County provides the southern frame, and finally Quay and Union Counties (NM) are the western neighbors of Hartley.
