Coming to San Marcos? If that is the case, you better pack your swim suit and your golf gear because you will not be able to resist the Aquarena Center or the Central Texas Golf Fest. Explorations and investigations of numerous archeologists have found evidence at the San Marcos River associated with the Clovis culture in this land elevated more than 615 feet above sea level where German, Irish, and English ancestries merged in harmony back in the settlement days. More than 1/2 of the population residing in San Marcos served by the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District is White Non Hispanic, close to 4/10 is Hispanic, and the remaining percentage is constituted by Native American, Asian, African American, Pacific Islander, and other racial groups. |
