Elevated more than 500 feet above sea level, this municipality witnessed the arrival of the Methodist Episcopal church back in the middle 19th century. This former Pony Express territory is well communicated with the neighboring communities thanks to the Interstate 30, US Highway 67, State Highway 11, State Highway 19, and State Highway 154.
